Traveler Snatenkov

On the 6th of March, 2013 in the museum of «Murmansk Shipping Company» there will be a meeting with a famous Russian traveler, a member of Russian geographic society Vladimir Snatenkov.

Vladimir Snatenkov has been visited more than 130 countries for the last 17 years.

Many times alone and with groups he made ​​ascents in the Himalayas,  in the Tibet, in the Karakoram, and the Kunlun, in the Cordilleras and the Andes, as well as in the Tien Shan and Pamir. He travelled in difficult tropical areas (Amazonia, Pantanal, the upper Niger, the Nile, the Congo, South-East Asian jungles in Indonesia).
He is the leader in sports programs on traveling in deserts among Russian travelers. He walked in Gobi and Sahara more than 200 km alone.
At the upcoming meeting, Vladimir Snatenkov speak on "Hard to reach the worlds of the planet." The event will be attended by members of the Murmansk city public organization "Association of Arctic explorers," students from the city club of travelers.

At the meeting Vladimir Snatenkov will be speaking on the topic «The worlds with a difficult access of the Planet». The members of the city public organization "Association of Arctic explorers" and the students from the city club of travelers will participate in the meeting.
