Offshore transshipment and oil products storage

serv oil1Joint Stock Company «Murmansk shipping company » offers oil transshipment services on its ship-to-ship offshore terminal RPK-1, located in Kola Bay, southwards of cape of Mishukov.

RPK-1  is designed for oil and oil products ship-to-ship transshipment for  tankers with a deadweight from 2 thousand up to 150 thousand tons.  

RPK-1 is a unique terminal which provides all-the-year-round and 24 hour services for the transshipment of hydrocarbons as well as bulk cargo (JSC "MSCO" has experience of ship-to-ship offshore transshipment of iron ore concentrate by means of floating cranes).

The terminal has all necessary licenses and certificates.

For safety operation of the terminal the following documents were prepared: the oil spill response plan, the emergency response plan, the international ship and port facility security regulations (ISPS).

serv oil2The terminal has the license for dangerous cargo handling in the seaports, issued by Federal Transport Supervision Service of Russia.

For safe mooring services there is a special experienced group of specialists working on the terminal during transshipments. Environmental safety of the terminal is ensured by the agreement obligations with rescue services providing emergency and oil spill response of both water and shore area of Kola Bay.

serv oil3RPK-1 is located within the borders of the port of Murmansk and can accept vessels with Russian or foreign flag, i.e. the terminal has the status of custom control point.

JSC « Murmansk shipping company » with leading institutes of the Russian Federation in the sphere of design of hydraulic engineering installations and terminals has developed measures for safe mooring and anchoring at the terminal of vessels with different tonnage and deadweight.
